A BEAUTIFUL WALK

Reguliersgracht is one of the most beautiful canals in Amsterdam since 1665. The famous 'Seven Bridges' are located at Reguliersgracht. The rich history of this neighborhood in combination with the beautiful surroundings create a unique opportunity for an enjoyable, relaxing, and informative walk.

EXPLORING & LEARNING

Walking around a historical city such as Amsterdam does not only creates feelings of wonder and admiration of its natural beauty, but also raises questions about its historical development and growth. Wars, revolts, colonies, religious conflicts, political disputes, migration waves, and social movements constitute the foundation of Amsterdam.

A HISTORICAL SYNTHESIS

Every street, every canal, every building, every tree, every stone and brick, every streetlight, every statue, carries a story behind it. When these are  put together, then they form a mosaic of stories that unveils significant historical aspects of Amsterdam. Together we step into the past of the city.

The meeting point is at the Metro Station Vijzelgracht (Metro Line 52).
